POWER 60/POWER 75 (all levels)
The signature class of 5 Boro Power Yoga. Open to students at all levels of practice. The class is based on the Baptiste Power Vinyasa style of yoga - an invigorating flow class of meditation in motion that will empower and transform you in body, mind and spirit. Learn to go with the flow, find your edge and practice at your own level. Explore your self as you grow through your practice by opening your heart, entering into your truth, freeing your mind, healing and strengthening your body. Power 60 is a 60 minute practice and Power 75 is a 75 minute practice.
RESTORATIVE YOGA
This class focuses on the parasympathetic nervous system - the feminine and receptive aspects of the nervous system. A gentle, juicy floor flow to begin to get you into your body..we won't even stand up..except for maybe one down dog..followed by moving deeply into some restorative poses..completely passive, held for 5 to 10 minutes each.
REVIVE & RENEW
A perfect blend to balance your practice! We begin with a power vinyasa flow and end with restorative poses. This class is open to all!
POWER BASICS
Whether you are new to yoga, are pre or post natal, recovering from an injury, or just want to slow things down and take it easy, this practice is for you. Special attention to yoga principles, alignment and technique. This class is open to ALL!
YOGA BODY BOOTCAMP™
The revolutionary new yoga-fitness hybrid created by Deborah Williamson. Think Cross-fit intelligence combined with sweaty, sultry appeal of Zumba, and you’ll have an inkling of the flavor of YOGA BODY BOOTCAMP™ – one ever-evolving work-out that will blow your mind AND body. Get ready for a combination of Biggest Loser, Amazing Race, and Survivor adrenaline mixed with the inner stillness of yoga. Crazy fun combined with yoga asana, fitness bootcamp stations and a whole new brain chemistry. But instead of the runner’s high, we’ll explore the different brain-wave states. Karen is one of 70 nationwide instructors and the ONLY certified Yoga Body Bootcamp Instructor in NY!
